Necromancer Falling Teaser Trailer

Nat RussoUncategorized 7 Comments

I know, I know! Things have been very quiet around A Writer’s Journey lately, and I apologize for that. But I think you’ll appreciate why. Because of my limited writing time, I had to make some difficult choices between writing new articles or completing Necromancer Falling, the sequel to my metaphysical fantasy Necromancer Awakening.

I’m happy to report I recently completed the 1st draft, and I’m preparing to go into the revision process within the next couple of weeks.

Until then, here’s a little teaser trailer. I hope you all enjoy it!

About Nat Russo

Nat Russo is the Amazon #1 Bestselling Fantasy author of Necromancer Awakening and Necromancer Falling. Nat was born in New York, raised in Arizona, and has lived just about everywhere in-between. He’s gone from pizza maker, to radio DJ, to Catholic seminarian (in a Benedictine monastery, of all places), to police officer, to software engineer. His career has taken him from central Texas to central Germany, where he worked as a defense contractor for Northrop Grumman. He's spent most of his adult life developing software, playing video games, running a Cub Scout den, gaining/losing weight, and listening to every kind of music under the sun. Along the way he managed to earn a degree in Philosophy and a black belt in Tang Soo Do. He currently makes his home in central Texas with his wife, teenager, mischievous beagle, and goofy boxador.

  1. Coolness! I usually like a trailer that teases maybe one or two more specifics about the story, but this plays the more general game very well. Especially love the music, very epic.

I did this one myself, for budgetary reasons. I spent a couple of days putting together a basic script/outline for what I wanted to convey, then hit the stock video sites until I found the clips I needed. I stitched everything together in Windows Movie Maker (came installed by default on my laptop). The most time-consuming part was finding the right stock video and music.

    2. I have a dark romantic comedy out – it’s hard to pinpoint- but along the vibe of Christopher Moore’s work. And I really need a video trailer – it would just be fun! Thanks for the tips – I’ll look into Windows Movie Maker =)
