Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Nat RussoAwards 7 Comments

My fellow bloggers and writers +Katherine Vucicevic and +Jasveena Prabhagaran have been kind enough to nominate me for a Very Inspiring Blogger award! I am both humbled and honored.

There are five rules I have to follow to accept this award. They are as follows:
  1. Display the award logo on my blog.
  2. State SEVEN facts about myself.
  3. Link back to the folks who nominated me.
  4. Nominate FIFTEEN other bloggers who deserve this award.
  5. Notify each of the nominees.
Read on for my acceptance post!

Seven Facts

  1. I’m a software engineer but my degree is in Philosophy. I use that degree on a daily basis, both at work and in my writing. It’s been FAR more useful than a C.S. degree 🙂
  2. I used to sing Baritone in a barbershop quartet.
  3. I played rhythm guitar in a country band in my teens.
  4. I enjoy playing disc golf with some degree of regularity.
  5. I’m a Black Belt in the Korean martial art Tang Soo Do (Midnight Blue belt to my fellow TSD practitioners…we don’t use Black for philosophical reasons).
  6. I was a defense contractor for many years and had the opportunity to live and work in Germany while writing software for the U.S. Army (V Corps G6).
  7. I like bees. They’re cuddly. They don’t sting me ’cause they know I like them. See how that works? 🙂

The Nominees Are

  1. Jeff McKown at The Way Things Turn
  2. Joan Reginaldo at Work In Progress
  3. Elena Jacob at Ravenheart
  4. Aral Bereux at Aral Bereux – Author & Photographer

  6. Kenneth Glen Morgan at The Morgan Narratives
  7. Adrienne Marie Pollock at Adrienne Marie Pollock
  8. Roland Martinez at wildpokerman

  11. Destiny Allison at Shaping Destiny
  12. Laura Oliva at Writing in the Night
  13. Nadine Ducca at Nadine on Writing
Thirteen…Fifteen…what’s the difference? [Damn…maybe I should have majored in Math instead of minoring in it.] These are all great folks that you should be paying attention to.

About Nat Russo

Nat Russo is the Amazon #1 Bestselling Fantasy author of Necromancer Awakening and Necromancer Falling. Nat was born in New York, raised in Arizona, and has lived just about everywhere in-between. He’s gone from pizza maker, to radio DJ, to Catholic seminarian (in a Benedictine monastery, of all places), to police officer, to software engineer. His career has taken him from central Texas to central Germany, where he worked as a defense contractor for Northrop Grumman. He's spent most of his adult life developing software, playing video games, running a Cub Scout den, gaining/losing weight, and listening to every kind of music under the sun. Along the way he managed to earn a degree in Philosophy and a black belt in Tang Soo Do. He currently makes his home in central Texas with his wife, teenager, mischievous beagle, and goofy boxador.
